These Terms of Service govern your use of the Maple Grove Line website and your attendance at the Maple Grove Line festival, held August 8–9, 2026 at Hakuba Mountain Grounds in Nagano, Japan. By using this site or by purchasing or holding a ticket, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or attend the event. We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force is the one published here with the "last updated" date shown above.
2. Tickets and purchases
All tickets for Maple Grove Line are sold through LivePocket, an independent ticketing platform, and are subject to LivePocket's own terms in addition to ours. Prices are shown in Japanese yen, and the price confirmed at checkout is the price you pay. Tickets are valid only for the date and tier purchased, and certain tiers (such as the Campsite Add-on) require an eligible companion ticket. Tickets are issued for personal use; resale above face value, commercial resale, and use of tickets for unauthorised promotions or competitions are not permitted, and we may void tickets obtained that way.
3. Entry, identification and conduct
A valid ticket is required for entry. We may exchange tickets for wristbands at the gate and may ask for identification where age-restricted areas or services apply. For everyone's safety we operate bag checks and maintain a list of prohibited items, including outside alcohol, professional camera and recording equipment, and drones; the full site rules are published before the event. We may refuse entry to, or remove without refund, anyone who behaves dangerously, breaches these terms, or disregards instructions from staff or security.
4. Refunds, changes and weather
Except where required by law, tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once purchased. The festival runs rain or shine, and the lineup, set times, and site layout may change for reasons beyond our control without entitling you to a refund. If we cancel the entire event, or a full festival day, for reasons within our control, we will offer a refund of the affected ticket's face value through LivePocket; booking and service fees charged by the ticketing platform may be non-refundable. We are not liable for travel, accommodation, or other incidental costs.
5. Health, safety and assumption of risk
Attending an outdoor mountain festival carries inherent risks, including exposure to weather, uneven terrain, crowds, and high sound levels. By attending, you accept these risks and agree to follow all posted safety information and staff instructions. You are responsible for your own belongings and for taking reasonable care of your own health, including appropriate clothing, hydration, and hearing protection. Anyone whose condition or conduct presents a risk to themselves or others may be asked to leave.
6. Photography, recording and media
The event may be photographed and recorded for documentation and promotion. By attending, you understand that you may appear in such material and consent to its use by Maple Grove Line in connection with the festival. Attendees may take photos and short videos for personal, non-commercial use only; professional or commercial recording requires prior written accreditation.
7. Intellectual property
All text, images, artwork, and other content on this site are the property of Maple Grove Line or its licensors unless otherwise credited, and are protected by applicable law. You may not copy, scrape, mirror, or republish substantial portions of this site for commercial purposes without our written permission.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maple Grove Line shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of this site or your attendance at the event, and our total liability is limited to the face value of the ticket concerned. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Japanese consumer law.
9. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and any dispute is subject to the courts having jurisdiction over Nagano Prefecture.
